hi,
we put the wick through the egg, sealing the small hole end with putty. then put them into an egg box for stability. tie the wick around a cocktail stick/pencil then fill with the wax. once the wax is cooled and hardened, break the eggshell off and you have a finished egg shaped candle.

Hi, I was wondering how the candle is made once you have the blown egg. Would you like to share that? I know of blown eggs being used for other things like decorated eggs, but unsure how to make candles of them.

Hi,
i just wanted to make a sugestion as you are talking about egg shaped candles, my mum uses egg shells as moulds!
they actually look really good and best of all are free!!!
you have to make a hole in one end of the egg, a small pin prick hole in the other and blow the egg out first.
